Candles: Best Practices for Clean & Even Burns
- Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn to reduce soot and ensure an even flame.
- Create a full melt pool by letting the wax melt to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling.
- Extinguish safely when 1/2" of wax remains to avoid overheating the jar.
- Place candles on heat-resistant surfaces and keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
- Avoid placing candles near direct sunlight or other heat sources.
